1939 - “Historic” World War

I was wondering.. why don’t we have Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, and Vatican (maybe, acceptable if not) in rounds, as AI controlled nations? Would be much more realistic. I asked some people in the chat about this and a moderator replied saying it’d be “meaningless” having this many “little” nations. It’s very very unrealistic not having these countries especially in the Historic World War round, as it’s name says, it’s Historic. It could be brought in as countries with a decent army, like Luxembourg for example.

Please state your thoughts on this

btw, still asking for Gyumri (Armenia) and Baku (Azerbaijan) to be part of USSR in the Historic World War round, to make it more realistic, and as was in WW2.

In my opinion, the game mechanics do not suit small countries.
In addition, gameplay is important.
At present, there is too much of a difference between the strongest and the weakest states.

Uhhhh, since it probably is? Vatican, just no, they did not even have a respectable army. Liechtenstein does not even have diplomatic relations with most of the outside world (they asked Switzerland to represent them.) Monaco and Andorra are too small to put on the map (they are about 1/3 the size of a regular European province in HWW, which in of itself are extremely small) Adding them doesn't really add anything to the game, and their populations are so small that they probably wouldn't be able to even qualify as a city (although, to be honest, neither would Danzig)

I concur, they really do need to fix up some of the borders (including Alsace-Lorraine)

Might as well remove the name “Historic” then. Also it’s really offensive of mods to speak like that about those countries.

Isn’t it possible to recode the map to fit those countries? I just want the map to be realistic as possible.

That would take time and effort on something that will have very little to no impact on the game.

There are other things that the devs should focus on, adding useless things to the Historic- 1939 World War map shouldn't be one of them.
