I mean atleast you learnt a valuable lesson on a sidenote why were you even building a navy or were investing so heavily into it? cuba seems to be an ally or has gone inactive by the looks of it."I don't know jeff!"

That's a classic 'noob' mistake to make.
You know that the damage from the sea is going to be minimal because ships can only fire so far, and retracting your troops would negate the damage any ship can do early on.
So the instant threat is from land based enemies.
Why build a Navy?"Do not discriminate, kill them all."

Navy is best. -
All is fair in love and war.
Trust, but verify.
There are so many cliches I could throw at you, you seem to leave yourself open to them. Anyway, I hope you learned from that. Enjoy your game."Do not discriminate, kill them all."

Yeah, I usually start a game with a solid partner from my alliance. That way you still have to find a few in game partners, but you have someone you can count on. Backstabbing is a scumbag way to win. Good partners are hard to find in game.
