    • I wonder who you could be talking about...

If someone is trolling you, hi-jacking your posts and trying to derail your topics, changing the direction of your posts.. Just report them and Admins are good in dealing with that kind of stuff. This would also apply if replies to your posts are not about your post but about you, trying to make things personal instead of actually... replying to your post.

I've never seen any kind of option to "Block" someone from participating in these public forums. Only admins have the powers of the BanHammer... and they do not share the details of those powers with us mere mortals.

      On the other hand...
If you don't like someone deconstructing your post, highlighting your flaws, making suggestions to improve your ideas...
... only solution is go grow-a-pair and take the critique... if you're gonna swim with the big boys... make sure you can swim. Take criticism when you throw half-baked ideas onto the floor or make sure you've though it out well.. maybe even address some of the potential criticisms before they come your way to show you're seeing potential problems and asking if there might be a better way of implementing your suggestion.

Do some research so you're not just regurgitating ideas that have already been extensively discussed in the recent past. Or acknowledge that you're aware of those discussions.

This is a public forum. You're centre stage....

The audience has smiles, thumbs up... and rotten fruit ready to go.

Which one you get... it's entirely up to you!
