    • WAW Playthrough: Nationalist China

So I haven't played WAW for over 4 months because I got sick of losing.

To be honest, I didn't really know how to play.

I decided to practice on small maps and watched a lot of BMfox videos (all of them actually) :) .

      I got better and better.

      My K/D went form 0.87 to 1.1

Ok, it's not phenomenal, but it certainly is an improvement.

      So this is Day 1.

I research Armored cars, Light Tanks, Naval bombers, Infantry, Destroyers and hopefully if I have time, cruisers.

I build two tank plants, 5 industry, 1 barracks, 1 aircraft factory, 1 naval base.

I declare trade embargo against south china and begin to stack my units

I begin producing two armored cars

Only Japan, Korea and communist china are active

All of them have K/D's lower than 0.9 and levels lower than 80

      This should be easy

I would like artillery but I don't have HC and I can't afford to log in every 30 minutes

    • Good luck mate. Keep us updated.
I am usually playing in the Asia-Pacific region in World maps. Best region IMO.
Love to see updates and screenshots!

    • Day 2.5

South China and Indochina come active.

They form a coalition with japan

Now south china is apparently a good player so i join them.

We are cramped but i want to be safe early game

i march my stacks north and attack communist china

    • Day 3.5

I research and upgrade my infantry to level 2

      The coalition has fallen apart.

Burma is beating up south china

South china and indochina quit along with japan

I want a slice of the pie and attack south china after leaving the coalition

I seize 3 of his cities.

Burma is angry and calls me a filthy dog

      Mukden is about to die

Communist china was very inactive and made no resistance

I am upgrading my oil and steel industry for tanks to level 3 and my food for infantry and navy to level 2

Xinjang, Ma-clique and south india are in a coalition and growing fast

I offer burma an alliance to hold them off

      More updates coming soon

Holy crap look at the Ma clique grow!
How do you propose to win this with just Burma? Are you going to join them eventually? Or are there allies in Russia or Africa who don't want a strong Asian axis and are willing to pay you to continue a proxy war?

    • Day 4

I research tactical bombers and battleships

I research level 2 light tanks and level 3 infantry und upgrade my infantry

Burma is very insulting an dares me to attack him, claiming that south india and his coalition are his allies

I call his bluff and attack

Borneo and the phillipines both join me

In 24 hours burma is done for

      Nationalist Chinese losses: 10000

      Burmese losses: 20000

The mightiest army list shows me at 2% compared to the highest 5%

      I have only 45 units

I have invested too much in industry and decide to focus on the military now.

I upgrade my tank plants to level 2 and produce level 2 light tanks

my tactical bomber research will end soon

Borneo starts transferring his massive air force north

      phillipines mobilizes his fleet

I build new units and begin stacking

Our target is Ma-Clique as both South india and xinjang are stuck in a war against persia

If the highest is not on the same continent, this should not be an issue surely?
Next update, could you please show a world-wide screen clipping? It'd be interesting and help to interpret events shown already.

Have you any formal relations with Persia? Are you deliberately co-operating?

      These are enlightening, thank you.
After conquering Burma I can't help much with advice since Siberia is inactive, but I'd suggest you ally with Queensland, if nothing else to prevent having to fight a two-front war later on.

Pan-Asian gun artillery has buffs, but you probably know this.

      Excellent turn of events! Congratulations
Why though are you sending units (including what appears to be light armour) over to his capital through the mountains of Tibet, over such a long distance? Does that not render attacks and ambushes likely and prevent reinforcement?
