I'm upgrading the infrastructure so my units travel faster, but it's so hard to know which provinces already have upgraded roadways without having to click each one... and I have hundreds! It would help if the map indicated a bit more information about each province by a quick glance without having to click on them. Example below.

I would prefer if they were more distinguishable. I don't really care about map esthetics compared to function.

To be honest, I had this very same idea. I haven't noticed that the dashed line, the continous line and the thicker continous line indicates different levels of infrastructure. I agree that it could be a bit more pronounced visually, maybe at a certain zoom level (in order to avoid that hurt eye).

Maybe allow wider in the low-graphics mode? It seems to be made for more visibility and less detail anyway. -
