I hardly ever use Paratroopers, and I have been wondering this question for some time. Does the mobilization time (time for air paratroopers to turn into ground paratroopers and vice versa) decrease for each level of advanced paratroopers you research?

Either way they suck and are easily countered by fighters or just killed on land over time. Not really worth the trouble.

Apparently paras now have the ability to change back to air form... something they didn't have in classic. Still not worth producing imo.Stay Sweet!

they do but I think they are very useful most of the time when I use them is ether against low level units or to gain quick loot by taking a undefended province it can create a panic for the enemy specialy when used against fortified units you can force them to leave there fortification if they have more units in the back or have taken out units from cities then just attack the undefended province to gain loot basicaly paratroops are sacrifices .

It’s also useful if your troops are facing a stalemate against heavily defended troops, as you can access their core provinces if they don’t have air support.
Furthermore, it could be used for Island hopping, for example in Oceania if you don’t want to face off against subs and artillery. I lost an entire squadron of 10 motorised infantry one when I tried to embark on an island, but forgot to check on the game and found that their artillery had bombed my troops to nothing a few hours later.Looking for improvement.
