AI is able to walk through units

regularly scheduled updates happen every 2 weeks (usually), everyone should know by now. december is a special case though due to holiday season, so there will be only 1 release in december.

As of 15 minutes ago still happening an entire Division drive through the oone I was sending to attack it to attack a unit of arty I left behind tio shoot

Just stack your arty with meat shields. Please don't repeatedly complain about it, we already know the existence of the bug.

I did stack them with meat sheilds.. but 5 infantry don't do much when they get hit by 6 Armored Cars and 4 Mech INfantry:.. Plus this is the first time I mentioned this so I am not reeatedly doing anything.. and giventhe first post date.. It doesn;t look like the bug is being worked on

Poor. And I mean if every player who faced it report here, the thread will be a mess.

That's the power of peaceful protesting, bringing awareness on a platform to repeatedly point out a "known bug" and to accommodate every player's complaints until it is fixed.
But since it's logically real that units can bypass/outmaneuver stacks and take out artillery,it is not part of the game dynamics.If someone is experimenting with a new feature then put it in a release note and make it part of the AI game.With that it would be better to adapt it then to wait repeatedly for it to be fixed.

Deepest sympathies fellow member, at least now players that don't know what to do with commandos and paratroopers when they're not needed,use them to guard the artillery

Oh. I overlooked. That’s normal behaviour of AI. When a stack of AI is bombarded by arty, AIs always leave the unit with the weakest strength behind( at least if there are infantry and militia, they leave militia behind) and send the rest to attack the arty. And a pity it seems that they didn’t fix the bug in the latest release.

I know it's being worked on and we should safeguard the artillery but how come player vs player don't enjoy the same benefit, it's only AI that can outmaneuver a stack on a single line/road and take out the artillery? Should this become a feature in the game then I want anti-tank trenches and sea mines that we can place...
Happened again today, enemy tank got in between my stack and artillery and took it out...

Yeah. That's what make AI harder to counter than bad players, plus AI often create doom stacks

It seems this bug is an intelligent bug.First time I experienced it,it was militia outmaneuvering my stacks,then infantry.I've started to guard my artillery with militia and infantry,then the AI attack with armored cars, when I guard with armored cars, the AI attack with tanks, when I use tanks,the AI use tank destroyers.Yesterday a SP Artillery outmaneuvered my main stack and attacked my artillery stack of arty,mech infantry and AC lvl 4.
For the last four days I had surprise attacks on my artillery, some I managed to repel, some managed to take out my artillery and protection.It seems it will become a normal trend to stack artillery with strong level units or to stop placing arty separate, instead just place them with the main stack.

Because of the AI's automatic counter-arty-attack, stacking arty with strong enough units is always necessary. Maybe you get used to offline players

Well since the game work on the dot and line system,it never occurred that non-stealth/scout units would be able to bypass/outmaneuver a stack on a straight line.To add protective units to the artillery isn't a problem, we'll just have to do it.
So it's a feature that's only applicable to AI? Sometimes the AI is a bit predictable and this supprise "cloaking" attacks does make it more interesting but why does it only happen to some players, experienced players like @Carking the 6th have mentioned that this has never happened to him and he's not the only one saying that.
From July-November 2023 it has never occurred then suddenly it started, from 25 Nov it has happened repeatedly for me, it's almost a month now.

Seems to be a bug, then. Seeing as Freezy has read this they will probably be looking into it.
