    • Right of Way related question..

I am curious exactly how a switch from Right of Way into Trade Embargo vs a nation works when they are already moving troops through neutral territory.

F.ex France gives Right of Way to Germany allowing german units to pass through it's territory. Germany moves a stack of infantry units into a french province where there is french Artillery units stationed. France changes diplomacy stance and switches to Trade Embargo vs Germany. Do the artillery units start firing on the german units since they are on french territory and within range? ..or perhaps this example is not possible since you cant switch in diplomacy once foreign troops are on your territory with Right of Way enabled?

      Thanx ;)

Its a common trick pulled by players to give people right of way, wait for the other player to enter their provinces, and then suddenly take right of way away, making the other player automatically declare war. Its a way to start a war, but make it look the other person.

In this example, the Germans would “sneak attack” once they reached the next province center. Any artillery would then start bombarding at that time.
