In Clash of Nations, the UK owns 4 overseas territories: St. John's (New Foundland), Hamilton Island, Gibraltar, and Valleta (Malta). These provinces are treated as British core provinces, which means that the UK has 4 more core provinces than everyone else. That means they get a bonus 2,400 more money and 1,800 more manpower per day.

What’s their total province count? And does that still make up for being an ocean away from Europe and unable to easily transport units to invade?

I've played the UK once or twice in Clash, and to be honest, it's a bit difficult to protect these territories, they're far from the main island, you have to transport troops by sea, so they're quite vulnerable. It's an advantage with a disadvantage.

Most countries start with 22 core provinces...
UK starts with 26.
But they should have more by historical standards. The British Empire during WW2 were global in resources and man power. -
Well they still have to go through naval invasions to take any land, their supply lines are far away from the mainland they have to conquer. This small increase in resources doesn’t exactly help that..

No it doesn't.
UK does NOT have an unfair advantage. I call it compensation for the price they would have to pay for expansion. -

It was proven in ww2 where they were stretched to the limit and could not give more ships to kill the Bismarck.
