    • There should be seasons

1 thing I think would be cool is to bring seasons into the game like game turn could be like a month so that you would have to take into account when you are attacking Russia because you don't want to be starting a war in December and likewise maybe not attack Mexico in the middle of July just a thought on how to make the game a little more realistic
    • If there were to be seasons, they'd have to be every certain amount of days, for balance. If it changed seasons everyday, you wouldn't be able to take on more northern countries unless you blitzed them within a few days.

    • If seasons were implemented, it could make things difficult without planning (a day is about 6 months ingame) with it being slightly slower in the the 100 player map (a day being 4 months). So seasons would last for hours per day, with unknown effects that could sweep through the map.

The more equatorial countries would also probably not be effected through the year due to a relatively constant temperature all the way through (please no monsoons).

    • I just think every like day could make up a month so if you started your attack in day 4 lets say and that is like September and you don't finish by like 2 days later you are into winter time and your men move slower and don't fight as well just make you think about how you play the game a bit
    • that means that it chanes season every 24hours

      too fast

plus a season is 3 months

maybe a season a week, but I still think there could be many flaws

So you want that certain nations have an advantage over other nations in certain wether (read seasons) circumstances?
    • I think he meant it as in for more realism, not exactly advantage per say. Everyone would have a disadvantage and advantage, considering the climate of all the nations.

    • i like it and in winter, soldiers should move 2x slower and in summer they should move 2x faster.
and seasons should change ever 3 days and there should be a thing what shows what season and month it is.
1 day should be 1 month and 12 days should be 1 year and 3 days should be 1 season

And also in winter for example like russia troops should get 2x stronger but german or any country troops who doesnt have that cold winter on hes homeland should have 3x penalty and tanks and armored cars should move 6x slower in winter as they drive with diesel and diesel freezes if it will be to cold.

so in winter they 2times slower.. and summer 2 times faster..
doesnt seem like a point for current values in a way....

I like the idea of seasons, as far as it should be week rather than 3 days..

that means you gotta change you tactic to much..

plus when its winter here its not winter everywhere..
I would like to see weather, and weather stations/forcasting or maybe seasons, just like to add a variable..
