It is unfortunate that this league developed in this way. When I considered joining, it was stated that game will have some rules and that those rules will be bound by players' honour. I see now that many people lack that aspect of personality. Concepts of allies and NAP were introduced in these games. Those are defined by some rules which we agreed to.
I have an alliance in one of the games. There is also another alliance. We agreed to some sort of non-attacking relationship, called NAP. We defined running time and exit condition like the rules demanded. Now, member of other alliance decided that he doesn't like our agreement anymore and says that he never agreed to it. Childish, irresponsible and dishonourable.
It happened in earlier games that people made mistakes, having too much allies or making forbidden units. They fixed them. Now, this guy decides that he will ignore what he agreed to. So, first he ignores concept of alliances by not accepting inter-alliance deals. Second, he ignores concept of NAP by breaking it without meeting exit conditions. While there are prooves that his ally confirmed that this guy accepts the deal and also prooves that he accepted the deal by explaining me some specific situation and telling me that he "will not violate the terms of agreement", he now throws all that away and pretends that map started day ago and there are no deals between us.
My question is next. If alliance and NAP means nothing, why we have rules that define them? Why don't I have shared map with half of them map since making and breaking alliances doesn't have to follow any rules? Or I could make alliance with some people and after that make with some other people and say that first ones didn't understand my words? If we already have those rules, why are they not followed?
I have played in two games, I am also playing third one right now. Until now nobody break his word or any agreement he made with other people. I thought it was because of the rules we had. But now I think it was because people who played in previous games respected their allies and enemies too and acted maturely. It is hard to expect those things from people who can say one thing today and other thing tomorrow.
I enjoyed playing with people like Xarus, wildL, RogodeterSnowl (great opponents every time) and many other people who keep this league alive, but people with no respect to the game or other players will not contribute to this league.
