The Red Army, no one could pump out tanks so fast in such close proximity Europe. Also, everyone was willing to die for Stalin on top of both men and women being able to join the army, air force and navy. The most famous, of course, being the Night Witches.

  • The German army was the army major equipped and best strategy during the second world War. Germany lost the war since they opened two fronts! In the event that Germany had not had 2 fronts, would have won the war.

But, the American army was superior in armament and strategy..

Germany lost because they invaded Poland, allied with Italy and use poorly equipped troops to hold off counter-attacks.

    This other reason.

  • The Soviet Union had an army untrained in combat and that is why they suffered many casualties!

Some were untrained and that was early in the war. For example, tank crews were expected to last one battle, same with a tank. So if a crew survived, they got a new tank.

Fighting was truly bitter. One man and his twenty something soldiers held a house in Stalingrad for a month, taking out tanks and soldiers all day everyday. They killed so many Germans that they had to run out and kick down the piles of bodies in the lulls to stop the Germans from using them as cover.

The Soviets lost 30,000,000 million soldiers on the eastern front. The Germans achieved major victories over the Soviets, the Soviets did not have experience in combat and had an air force unable to compete with the German force.

At the start, that is true. It is the same for Germany's child soldiers but I cannot argue with how experienced their WWI veterans who fought in Berlin to defend the Fatherland were.....

The Soviets kicked the German's ass's.

    Has CoW thought you nothing?

    Numbers means nothing..

in the opening days of the war, the Germans were outnumbered, doesnt mean they never made it to Moscow..

Disagree.. they went spread out too fast... Should have cleared one debt at a time then moved on

well guess kinda of the same point, just different views...

I dont know if the americans were better in armament.. better logistics I guess.. but strategy?
I would put the top 2 generals of the war on the German side...

Hell yeah they made it to Moscow!

Other than the POW marches, the Germans never made it close than 32km outside Moscow. As for the Reds, they razed the capital in occupied it for a couple decades.

    you serious?

    numbers mean absolute nothing..

France had more tanks that the Germans in 1940....

The most important things are a general and his tactics...
well maybe not.. but its defo not numbers

The soviets numbers, didnt win them the war, although I wont deny that it made some impact..
The soviet troops were poorly led, feed and equipped all what you would expect under a communist regime

The Germans were also outnumbered in the first world war on the eastern front...
they also had to fight on two fronts, however unfortuantly this horrible event happened in 1917
    which really ruined Russia..

The Germans have always been ahead technological..
    they have the best Generals..
    with an awful leader..

Americans and brits, were well equiped and also had good Generals and werea good army..

Soviets have always been behind, however you Duck, are too stuck in your view to open up and read the facts...

I hated Conservatives, for a long time, and was like wow the government can do this and all this other crap, then I opened my mind, learnt some economics and am now a hard core conservative..

    off topic.. a tad..

    point is open your mind,

Germans were a better force.. but just failed to keep production, for many reasons, but that is all because of the allies, UK and America won that war.. the Soviets would never had on their own..
