    • Who would win?

This is a thread meant to discuss people/nations/animals pitted against each other.

First topic, who do you think would win in a war between US and UK vs Russia and China?

      Rules for this battle
      1. No nukes
      2. no other countries can help militarily in anyway
      3. They start with current resources, military, economy etc
      4. war is won whenever the other side surrenders

    • USA and UK

China would just be a drag on Russia. Joke of an armed forces.

Russia would be better off alone. But since this is Russia and China,
      Im saying USA and UK

      you should add a poll

    • The answer is Russia and China. While their forces may be beaten conventionally, China has the most manpower and the two together have the most land in the world. Russia is the biggest country, while China has one of/the largest populations in the world.

So while forces may be defeated in open combat, the countries will never be subdued and will just turn into another Afghanistan, with plenty of IED's and the like.

Besides, the UK isn't much good. They only have 500 Challenger 2's, of which they cannot make ammo for, they make it in a factory in Belgium, I think it is. With no help from outside nations, they will have to build their own ammo factory.

The Americans can supply their ammo

Show me America's factories that produce ammo for the Challenger 2.

    • United States and UK.

      Reasons:
      • The American and British Navy are better and greater in number against the Russians and the Chinese.
      • Russia would be unable to fight on two fronts, Russia would have to fight in the European front and the Asian front.
      • The North American aviation is technologically superior to China and Russia.
      • China would have supply problems, which would lead to riots.
No one would win the war, but humanity would lose.

What kind of a moron attacks through Siberia....?

Yes, but Russian aviation is quantity over quality. Quantity is a quality of its own.

So would the Americans, no more Chinese made goods.

During the first world war, Russia was defeated in Siberia by the German Navy, during World War II, the Germans controlled the sea of Siberia.

An aircraft with American technology would be able to destroy 30 Russian aircraft.

China would be difficult to supply, in fact, during the Chinese Civil War and World War II, the Chinese weren't unable to create supply lines.

The sea of Siberia and Siberia are two very different things.....

It'll get mobbed by them though and can only attack one at a time.

There were supply lines, just long ones. By the way, the Chinese have loads of trains and have transport aircraft. China is not a third world country, it can move supplies around.

Do you think that the Russian army would be able to endure 3 fronts in Europe and one in Asia?

The North American aviation is completely superior.

These supply lines would be attacked by the planes.

Where are these fronts? Besides, American forces could not move through Siberia fast if they did attack there and the area is perfect for guerilla warfare.

Doesn't mean it will win. The Russians can produce cheap aircraft very fast. China has the manpower for pilots.

The Ho Chi Minh trail and German/Japanese supply lines are very different.

Ho Chi Minh trail is basically a trail through hard to navigate, both by planes and ground forces, terrain.
German supply lines are trains, trucks, and horse drawn carts along main roads.
Japanese supply lines are basically ships, 'cause it was supplying islands.

Notice the problems? Anyway, the Ho Chi Minh trail survived when American had overwhelming air superiority.
