Why no anti-cheat?Pax Romana Communications Officer
Because it is a practice match, and may require supervision of new members. There is no nefarious reasons. Also this whole anti cheat thing defeats the purpose of an alliance. The only rule I would agree with is one where multi accounts are punished.
The next logical step would have been to have no gold usage alliance ranked games with an initial gold fee to play, winners get pot. However here we are with anti cheat which isn't really just the spirit of the competition.
Any self respecting alliance player would not stoop to multi accounting and to suggest that a player could do this in an alliance game is illogical and gives no advantage. In fact it would be a disadvantage to the team to have someone playing 2 accounts.
Yet here we are with a new silly rule that we all know should have addressed competitive use of gold in alliance games.
In fact is it not against the rules to encourage players not to use Gold. So good luck on enforcing that rule ever again.
Good luck finding a competitive match that allows Gold.Pax Romana Communications Officer
It is against the rules to encourage players not to use gold.
I would have thought since your a stickler for the rules you would have known that.
I have a respect for the spirit of the rule not for what suits me when it suits me.
Why is this even being discussed? No gold was used in our game vs you (by us, at least)Pax Romana Communications Officer
