    • I think your very wrong in your ideas. Sure the EU helps the little guy in the case of Ireland but thats its because its paid by the big guy. We dont get a massive amount in the EU. Also the EU is not the world here, we still have the Asian markets and even the US to a degree if they play ball. Sure the EU is not all bad but it has many issues that are not getting fixed, its inefficient and only as strong as its weakest link. And your mistaken about London. It wont suddenly collapse, sure shares fell today but thats due to uncertainty, they are steadily recovering. London still trades alot in the Asian markets, sure we may lose some trade in the EU but im not saying were better off out, im only wanting out due to the politics.

You cannot deny that theres alot of back room deals with you support me and I support you which the UK gets left out of due to us never really committing to the EU. I would also like to state that the UK public gets alot of input into Parliament with not only the elections holding the Government to account but Petitions forcing things onto the governments agenda. Along with the Courts upholding civil rights the Public has alot of access.

It isn't that "Britain is the heart of the Financial system. They can live without us." - It is rather "London is the heart because we decided to put all our money their, but we can move it to Paris/Elsewhere." --- This has been happening for awhile now, but the E.U split is now going to accelerate it. Rapidly.
Just to add, London voted hugely in favor of remain, compared to the rest of England

The UK is screwed, they will never get the same trade deal as Switzerland.

But on the bright side, we may see all 32 reunited

The real reason the EU is great, is because its free trade, and trade agreements. Well to me, that is off huge importance.

the UK are screwed, they in for huge trouble..

Do you know the crap that this will kick up? Hell, I just hope the place has been properly decommissioned....
Its what Lynch would have wanted, the North to be jealous of the south.
Best way to reunite Ireland, is to kick out the Catolic Church from controling affairs in this nation ( although to be fair it is less common, I really didnt need to add that )

but make our prosperity make NI want to join, I think a united Ireland, would be great

The general consensus I've heard from educated minds of the Irish society is that we can't afford to keep NI.

      That was the point.
Even with the EU, I dont think it can survive, I think 32 counties is best.

Whatever. In the last election most people didn't want it. Both North and South.
      I dont see why not..

we would be so much stronger, and it might lead to less support for Gerry Adams

Then explain why Britain is going to have to undergo massive cuts on healthcare and education if you will get so much money frrom leaving the EU.
The past is a foreign country.

Gerry Adams is great, really nice guy, funny, and well loved in Louth, just you don't say that. Even better, he never was part of the IRA.
      I hope your not serious..

      He is a terrorist
He gets elcted in louth, because everybody elects the big party leaders, as they know they will get their local needs met
