  • Unit Boxes?

Greetings, in one of my games, my units have appeared to have turned to squares?
The unit image is no longer of infantry, AA etc, however just a box. But when I order the "box" to move it doesnt show the line instantly it does after a few minutes however, and it would appear not to be on the move, however when you hover the mouse over it, it shows the arrival time. You would be surprised how much harder it is to play with it issue

happened yesterday, I was playing everything was grand, then I was told to leave the game, as they had updated new features? Logged back online, and that had happened.
From the chat, it appears one or two other players have the same issue

  • Hypothetically it looks as if they've made separate unit images for stationary and moving units in order to free up resources. It may help if they put the unit graphics and overlays on a content delivery network so that the transfers are made faster and with less errors. As of now I'm getting action errors presumably due to units not being drawn after splitting units. Hope it is fixed by tourney time!

edit: I think they messed up the css widgets for sprite sizing which is causing polyfills.js to return errors and blank at the units when switching between images. This is not game killing so we may be stuck with it for awhile. FP rounds do indeed seem fixed so hopefully they'll apply these changes to standard rounds soon.

  • Yes, I'm seeing this at times as well. Only on certain zooms though. If I'm zoomed all the way in, I don't see the boxes. If I zoom out a couple of times I will see the boxes instead of the units but then they will go away if I zoom again.
