The new split command function doesn't work right. For a group including all types of boats and a number of different land units, I can't simply select the number and types I want to split without the damn thing resetting it on me.

I was able to use the 'select only this type' function to split command, but I had to do that separately for each type of unit I wanted to split.

What is up with changing unit commands over and over. Choose a format and stick with it Devs! Noone was complaining that there wasn't a "choose 1 unit of this type" button in our menu. It is clutter and causes glitches (I've noticed it jumps back to unit total when I attempt using the slider, can work around by making slow corrections) due too to much resources within a single application window.

I kind of like it, comes in handy when you attacking and need to split a lot, especially with the Naval units. I haven't had any problems with it yet though."It is even better to act quickly and err than to hesitate until the time of action is past." - Karl Von Clausewitz

An easy and helpful change would be to make the "select 1 unit" keep selecting one more each time you click it. So say you wanted 3 tanks you could just click it 3 times.

Holy shite. I didn't have any idea there was anything like a mouse with twelve buttons. I had a hard time figuring out one that had three.

Are any of the people who replied game operators or moderators or company personnel?

Logitech G600. The best mouse I've ever found for large handed people.

Not to be insulting but these mouses are retarded. Hardware and software should be minimalistic (keep it simple stupid) and functional. Having 15 buttons on a pointer device or unit movement window is poor design. ;]

I could see using a mouse with some side buttons for automated design work but cannot see how they assist with gaming. Maybe people don't use keyboards any more or something. I have 105 keys to your 15 mouse buttons, come at me. ;p

Quite the crash course in modern mouse design, I'll say. What does one of those things cost?
Still, has anyone who responded to the original question actually been a staff member? The new split command function kinda sucks. -

This mouse is excellent for larger hands, though. It has 3 main button, opposed to the traditional 2, making it a wider mouse.Pax Romana Communications Officer
