Well, since people have a different idea of liberalism there in Ireland than here in Spain, I'm changing to 'Independent'.
      @vex03 I'm going independent.
      liberals are center left,

social views vary from political party, but traditionally, liberals do support gay marriage etc and conservatives dont, but there are many conservatives like myself that do and many liberals that dont, Libertarianism does support gay marriage, but isnt even close to being on the same scale, libertarism is good do

Economy: We need to start making the UK great again. We need to clear these socialist ideals from our streets, and the best way to do that, is not with force. But with example. We need to break up unions, that stop our people working and our economy growing. We need to break up piles upon piles of government regulation, that stops good things in efforts to save their back. "I have a cunning plan"

      1. It is time to support are small business, it is time that we let small business grow. The min wage (pushed for by large competitors) really doesnt actually do good for anybody. That is one set back for small businesses growing.
      2. And now to broaden to all business, we need to cut corporation taxes to 7% We need to get our AAA back! We also need to get rid of wealth taxes. We will be implementing a 12.5 flat tax rate on incomes.
      3. We need to cut welfare, okay lets lay the facts down, I am gonna cut a lot of taxes, a lot. But spending will also come down. Welfare needs to come down a bit, right now we are creating jobs and enterprise, however welfare is destroying the incentives to work. We will cut welfare, but not disability benefits,
      4. Education is of upmost priority. With public schools containing to trail behind Private schools, we will be implementing a "school voucher scheme". The parents of low income house holds, who dont want their Children to go into a failing public school, and then get stuck in the same loop holes they are in, will be able to get vouchers in which they can choice the best school for their children. And go on to achieve what dreams they want
More to come later, too tired

That is the American form of Libertarianism. It is perceived as right wing by liberals who are perceived as left-wing by everyone else. As a right-winger, I consider Libertarians to be center-left because they are indeed liberal on social issues but conservative on big government and the economy. I am to to the right of both.

      To: @vex03

I want to join the race for British PM. But I wish to register under a new political party: the Imperial Theocratic Party (ITP). To be elected, you must have nearly unanimous support of the party and a super-majority of the electors. Besides replacing the Prime Minister, this party would also supplant Her Majesty's government and -- as a lifetime elected candidate (once-for-all time) -- I would be named Emperor and establish my family as the new official royal line of the British Isles.

As a man of God and as a man of my word, I would not accept the title of Emperor unless I win the primaries unanimously by all registered Imperialist voters and that I do win a super-majority of the voting public. After all, if I am to become their permanent ruler, I would like to become Emperor via a thoroughly-approved vote of the people. Of course, I would need to immigrate to Britain, but I'm willing to leave the United States to become Emperor of Britain. However, my prospects at finding a wife would greatly increase since many women would want to become Empress of Britain as a part of my Royal House.

Yep, that sounds like a plan.
It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.

    • Update on my policies for Conservative:

      • Like ocean, I also will give incentives to small businesses. But differently. Small businesses and start-ups (parameters of what is a small business is still being thought about) will not get taxed at all, and will be given money as an incentive to keep on going. These incentives are relative to how well the company does. The better the company does, the more money it gets. This is kind of a 'survival of the fittest' idea, so that we only get the best of the best.
      • Taxes. Three types of taxes for normal citizens. For those with under 40,000£, only 7.5% tax. For those between 40,000£ and 100,000£, 17.5% and for those of over 100,000£ 27.5%. VAT levels will be kept at current rates. Corporate tax will be 12.5%. These taxes may seem a bit to the left, but we need a bit of money in these times to rebuild our economy and become a superpower again.
      • Benefits to the unemployed will last only for three months, and then they will have to find a way to survive. Like ocean, disabilitybenefits will continue to exist.
      • Since the people have decided that leaving the EU is a good decision, we will have to cease to depend on other countries. With the extra money from tax and the reduced benefits, I will invest it in renewable energy, specifically, tidal, wind, and wave. With massive investment in these sectors, I hope to achieve renewable resources self-sufficiency in energy in 6-8 years.
      • Education will continue to be both publicand private, and the government will do everything in its power to assure it is the best in the world. A new system, similar to the one in universities ill be put in place. the government will give out student loans to pay for private schools and universities. The student in question will repay it bit by bit when he gets employed.
      • Healthcare will be privatised, but in a manner that the government still has a certain control over prices and that it is available to everyone.
      • Heavy emphasis will be placed on the use of electric cars. Run-of-the-mill fossil fuel-burning cars will be actively discouraged by making them a lot more expensive. The extra money will obviously go to the government. Electric cars will be made a lot cheaper, and, as they will use electricity from our increasingly renewable resources energy grid, it will be carbon-free.
      • Marijuana will be legalised.
      • Money will be given to scientists who ar researching materials to substitute plastic, which is made using oil. People actively developing hydrogen cars will also be given money.
The past is a foreign country.

If the government gives them money they will lose incentive to actually do it properly, it is better if their own stakes and investments are involved. Public funded privately run, is eve worse than publicly funded and publicly run
If they are just getting paid by the government they may not even bother actually doing the reseach etc as they already making money. It is better if they or other companies in the private market invest, as with the risk there will also come an incentive to work harder and not slouch.

This happened when they built the first planes, the government financed one company, they took the money and then said " it cant be done" meanwhile 2 brothers took some of their own cash and invested it in their business. Because they have put in money etc, they worked hard and then the Wright brothers made the first aeroplane, there are many examples of this.

      • Healthcare will be privatised, but in a manner that the government still has a certain control over prices and that it is available to everyone.
See price controls will destroy incentives to have improve healthcare, and will then there will end up with very little healthcare available, and the little services provided, only the wealthy will have access.
It is better to encourage and support small GPs etc and make a more competitive market which will lower healthcare costs..

Okay, well that is awful. That is just disgusting. That will destroy the incentives to have wealth. And wealthy people and companies will leave the UK, and take their investments with them. Now with us losing so much companies following the brexit, do you really think it is a good time to drive more companies from the UK?

As for the tax rates, they are disgusting. Still within the lafer curve, however on income tax yikes. The government doesnt need money to rebuild the economy. The people need money to rebuild the Economy

That is a very very very bad idea. The government giving money out, is not an incentive. It will create large monopolies. So not only are big companies doing well, but now they get huge amount of money from the government. So they will become lazy and ineficent , wont innovate at all, mean while small business wont be able to break into any market..

That is a really bad idea

Incentives are small enough to mean that the company or scientific institute researching can't survive solely of them. And there have been many cases where revolutionary breakthroughs have been delayed because people didn't have the money to continue research.

I do admit price controls give a bit of a 'dis-incentive', but if the NHS is privatised, we have to make sure that people can afford private healthcare. Reducing prices doesn't necessarily mean that you are making the health industry unprofitable.

Dude, those tax rates I just gave are like really low. Currently in the UK, anyone over 32,000 gets taxed just over 40%. It goes up to 50% when you earn more than 150,000. So I lowered them a lot. i honestly don't know where you're going to get the money from.
