History
In 1910, as tensions around many areas in Europe start to boil up, the Ottoman empire still seems to be on its downward roll into destroying itself, but with the sudden Kaiser support to the Ottoman empire, shocked the world, and was able to make the Ottoman empire bounce back into a state where it would be able to keep itself afloat, for now.
In 1911, the first homemade Ottoman battleships were made, and another 200,000 Turks troops fielded into the army, and was soon posted to the Russian front, where they were told to the hold off any type of Russian attack, and around 20,000 men were sent to keep guard with the board with Greece, Serbia, and Bulgaria.
In 1912, just a few years later, with Greece supported by Serbian, Romanian, and Bulgarian troops, stormed into the Ottoman held town of Kavala, and sparking the First Balkan war.
Days later, the Ottoman Empire decided to pull out and give into the demands of the Balkan allies, with them threatening the heart of Ottoman control, Istanbul.
The treaty surprisingly, to many nations, was about to make all nations happy with the gains and lands, and being able to unite their people, after thousands of years of Ottoman ruling, against their own will.
Seeing the weakened state of the Ottoman Empire, the Russian empire, with blood still running strong after the Crimean war, declared war on what was thought to be nothing more but a weak and disorganized Ottoman empire, but what they came up against, was an army, fit to take on the whole Russian army.
Though the Turkish lost the war in the Balkans within 3 months, they only had lost since they allowed them to lose, the Ottoman empire did not pull off any of its troops on the Russian border, and it had also accepted that it would be pushed out of Europe, so instead of trying to fight the overwhelming odds in Europe, they stayed back, and when the Russians came, they had an army, 800,000 Turks troops, trained by the German Empire.
Though this put a massive strain on the Ottoman supplies at home, German supplies were shipped daily from Germany, and even Italy who is currently having border problems with Austria, and did not and would not support the Italians, in case Italy went in against Austria.
By 1914, the Ottomans had pushed the Russian armies so far back into their mainland, that they had past per-1683 borders, and had pushed up all the way to Tsaritsyn, a city which the Turks had only seen over 200 years ago, once the city fell, the Russian government soon was forced to give into Turkish demands, or the road to Moscow would have been wide open to the Turks troops, which would have destroyed national morale and break the country apart.
The Treaty of Berlin, which forced the Russian government to split the Caucasus between the Russian and the Turkish people.
But the damage to the Russian people had already been done, the Russian government was struggling with keeping their people under their rule, and millions of Russians no longer felt themselves loyal to the Russian government.
On 1916, December 24th, Christmas eve, the Russian people marched on the capital of Saint Petersburg, demanding that the Tzar step down from power. The next day, the Reds marched on the capital, bearing guns. When the Tzar ordered his White Palace Guard to open fire, they joined the revolutionaries, when he told his personal guard to shoot, they ran away.
Off the coast of a Finland, nearing St. Petersburg, was Aurora, a Russian cruiser which turned around when they heard the distress signal from the Russian Baltic fleet in Saint Petersburg.
Though the army had left the empire, the navy still remained loyal to the crown, all but 5 ships.
At 4:01 pm, Saint Petersburg time, the 5 ships went broadside against the who Russian Baltic fleet, which had its guns aiming at the city, awaiting the order to fight at the Communist Reds. What they had not known, was the 5 ships which were joining the blockade came to lift it, and just 5 minutes later, the 5 heavy Communist loyal ships opened fight on the Russian Baltic fleet. The fleet was not moving, so they were able to launch their torpedoes and destroyed the heaviest ships, the smaller ships were picked off by the heavy 10.5 inch guns of the Communist Fleet.
Later that same day, the Russian capital fell, and the Hammer and Sickle raised over the now renamed Leningrad.
When news from Russia came into Germany and the United Kingdom, the events were more than shocking, the the German Empire marched into Russia, along with British naval support to save their cousin, Nicholas II.
By the time the German army reached Warsaw, the Russians Communist were pushing farther and farther along the Russian countryside, inching closer the the German army, but a change of events had taken place. The British broke a deal with the Communist, a deal which would have saved the revolution in Russia.
The British and German empires would stay out of the Russian Civil war, under 2 conditions.
The first was Poland would become free minor states under the watching eye of Russia, the next and most important one, Tzar Nicholas II and his family and all of the royals, would be able to leave Russia unharmed, if not done so the British and Germans would bring a part of the revolution by whatever means to avenge Nicholas II.
On January 21st, 1917 the deal came into effect and the Communist declared a total control over Russia, and formed the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, with a total loss of life only being 30,000 men and women. (i like pie)
This sent massive shockwaves all across the world, showing that the biggest of powers can fall to the hands of their people. Soon after massive Anti-Communist sentiment was put across the United States, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria-Hungary, and The United Kingdom's. But, France had been torn apart on the Communist party.
The French people supported the idea, as the government thought of a weaker central government, to make sure another Napoleon would not break out of France, putting Europe into a massive war which would destroy nations.
In 1918, the all countries other than France, made a ban on Communist parties. The French did not since they would have known this could bring the end of the French short lived democracy and possibly bring the Communist to arms faster, which would make France the next Russia.
On 1918 November 1st, the Parti Communiste Français was made, and in 1919 gained 21 seats in the parliament of France, bring the French government worries about a Communist coup which would bring the Communist of France into power.
Now all that stops Europe from falling into a massive Communist downturn is if, the French government can suppress the Communist of French enough to end the Communist support rally.
Now, 1920, the Russians have gained the power to rebuild and once more start expanding, the Germans plan to avenge their cousin and bring him back into power with support from the British.
The Russians plans on uniting the empire which it once had, but with the amount of enemies which it has, they will have to work fast and hard to do it.
