It would be very helpful to have all the seas and gulfs across the maps labelled so it's easier to identify those areas of the maps when discussing tactical plans with allies. The crazy part is when you lose a plane over water it shows up in the newspaper to tell you what part of the ocean it got destroyed in - so the mechanic is already there. Please add this feature. Something akin to the attached image would be great, with the gulfs labelled too of course.

And when I select a ship in the ocean there is always "current position" on the UI next to the ship, but nothing else. It would be nice to see the body of water it is in by looking at that, too.Forum Gang Premier

This should be a no-brainer, and should involve minimal coding.
I'm as good or better than most persons with world geography, but there are some fairly obscure bodies of water referenced in the newspaper battle results. Moreover, it would be nice if some of the larger bodies of water were further divided into their geographic subcomponents (e.g., Gulf of Alaska vs. Pacific Ocean) -- it really doesn't tell me much when one of my submarine squadrons disappears in the "Pacific Ocean" during a 50-player Pacific map game. The post was edited 1 time, last by MontanaBB ().

One MMO I play in provides a hot link to the battle location. I see supply drops are linked, so linking is available already. Then you would know exactly where the sub went down in the Pacific.

Also a grid of sea lanes was mentioned in the past.“I am the flail of god. Had you not created great sins, god would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.”
