Nice work.
Text fields show up a little small in Chrome on a MacPro / OS X Yosemite.
Will let you know if I notice any other issues on this or any other platform I use. -
Thanks for the feedback. Yea I can hardly read the text either, lol. I'll make it bigger.
-
oh and i meant to say originally, that I would really really appreciate any feedback. It's a lot of work and hard to notice all the problems myself.
-
Hmm... this could come in handy.
Nice work DxC, couldn't do something like that if I tried. -
thanks, it's definitely a labor of love ... way to much of both

Not really accurate for nuclear rockets.
-
In what way do nuks seem off? Too weak? Too strong? I did find a couple problem that I fixed. One was that nuks were not ignoring fortifications as they should. The other was that damage wasn't being spread to multiple stacks properly. In general, for any given battle the in game result can vary a lot. The calc just tries to give you some average expectation of the result. But I will try to fix issues as they come up.
-
nukes are too weak. against a stack of 10 AA they did 0.1 damage.
-
Well that sounds extreme and unrelated to above fixes. I just tried it vs AA and it kills 300 AA which is right according to nuk stats vs INF class 3000 / 10 = 300. I'm guessing you had the terrain for nuk set to something besides air. If that is the case, the nuk will be in a convoy and very weak, just like any convoy unit.

If you turned on your share map ally you can both be in a fort.
-
Yes, but you will be fighting on the same side, but in different stacks. Currently, if the Axis side has a fort then it assumes all Axis stacks at position zero are in the fort. If you change position to 1 or more then it assumes the stack is not in the fort.
-
Or are saying if you let ally into fort and then start a battle with each other with both in the fort? In that case, I assumed that whoever owns the province got the fort bonus, but not the other army. Is that not correct?

I updated the results output so that each unit count and morale is updated to their current (after battle) value. This is useful for various things, but particularly for testing multiple plane or rocket sorties one round at a time (i.e. Max Rounds = 1), because it sets the "current" unit count and morale based on the previous attack. If you don't want your input values to be modified when you attack, click "New Window" so the results open in a new window.
A couple of important updates that will be implemented soon (hopefully) are:
1. Range units will automatically attack a valid, within range, stack that is nearest, even if the target is not specified explicitly.
2. Attacking planes will attack all valid stacks within 3 km of specified target. -
Allies do get a bonus, yet if the ally defends a fort (and you dont), you will notice a decreased effectiveness in defense. Has to do with damage spread. Havent figured out the exact numbers though. Just that 'it is'
-
miech, but the question is say ally comes into fort with your troops there and one of you declare war. Will you both get fort bonus from same fort? Regardless of that I guess it's conceivable that two forts can be close enough for artillery on both sides. I might allow forts on both sides, but it seems to be a pretty uncommon situation.
And in terms of ally defending fort from your enemy. Doesn't the stack popup show if it has a bonus or not? I would imagine it either gets it or doesn't, not something in between. In any case, in that scenario, you would only need the fort on one side. -

As soon as I saw that DxC and there was a calculator, I was like "Same guy as the Evony ones?" Yup! Good job sirSomeone once asked, 'What is the difference between me and Saddam Hussein?' The answer is, 'I have a conscience and he doesn't.'- Norman Schwarzkopf

Good job. I support every act of creativity, especially one that helps players.
