    • yes changed... some things are positiv:

      • infrastructure now clearely shown
      • small provinces are now easier to select


      But for me as personal feeling the new coins are a step back. Now its like playing an old Risiko and we have on a 2D planar map with some detailed icons for the units on it.

      Maybe an option for the player would make sence where we can activate more detailed icons.

    • For me its about the flair...

      Now I´m having a flat map with some coins for buildings on it and 3D units. But with 3D Buildings it suits to me more and when I need more information of a province I still need to check the provincestatus by selecting it. Another point for me is that i can see by the 3D Buildings clear where I have all over the countrie which type of specialisation or defense lines. Even if I do not know the correct status of the buildinglevel but i can see it better on the map and change my tactic due to this information i got visualy.

      In Supremacy there is the possibility to change between graphics for the units or "pin´s" - something like that would suit me in this game too.
    • I like the coins, Its easier to see zoomed out and previously with the other method my factories, airfields etc. ended up in the water when built in coastal cities.

    • I liked the old icons, for some strategic reasons beyond the aesthetic.

      1- with 3D design know the level of strength in each province only by the feature, that was great because besides speeding up the view I could see the level of the fortress of other countries, defining where it should move my arty's and where to attack only with troops.

      2- when I have tents, fortress, factories in this new coin format, is one over the other, losing time to verify what is being built where.

      3 as stated in the strongholds, different levels had different aspects, think it would be interesting to incorporate it in other, at least between the level 1 and 5.
