For whatever reason Bytro have decided to make your own territory invisible unless you have your own units there or share mapped units. This is ridiculous, considering the fact that you can see 100% of your own territory in S1914, and that game requires you to have a unit in every province! The scale of CoW is much smaller, with people fighting with 10 infantry units rather than stacks of 50, 500 or even 1000.
